quiche not too peachy

View all 9 photos...
these are pictures of my quiche, which i decided to add meat, instead of the usual tuna. but the end picture is not included because my maid didn't take it out from the oven after turning the oven off. so the cheese got really dark and hard and it didn't turn out nice and soft like i wanted it.

anyway, here are some recently taken pictures..which come in no definite order...

another day out in Melaka

the first station is the pumpkin farm
but there were no pumpkins, only sea cucumbers

Last Sunday, we had to chance to explore Melaka and this time, it was a visit to the newly opened Dusun D-Paradise in Alor Gajah, about 30 minutes away from Ayer Keroh. We heard that the place has all sorts of fruit plantations and trees, so we thought of taking a look at them! The entrance free was a bit of a shock though, considering it's Melaka. RM49 for adults!!! and the buggy ride costs another 10 bucks per person. (and trust me, you NEED a buggy and you would be crazy to walk!!! for that place is hugeeee)

So, here are some pictures from our outing. Personally, i think this place still lacks infrastructure and facilities. It should add more attraction, like snack shops at every station, and sell nice snacks too like ice-cream, icey-cold drinks, fun stuff for children to look at..etc. As it is, the place is quite boring for children, and ride on the buggy could be more informative, like putting a tape of recorded voice explaining what plantations are we passing through, instead of us trying to read the information cards while the buggy driver drives off at his own speed.

susahlah kalau nak melawat dalam negara sendiripun bayarannya cekik darah! Tue 29-Nov-2005 03:59

tu lah, and i really don't think RM49 is worth the tour..not like you get to eat all the fruits during the tour. yang die bagi rase only betik and markisa (which is so masam). and nak bawak balik sket pun tak boleh. Tue 29-Nov-2005 15:01

our vegetable plantation area
almost done..
the new grass..
View all 8 photos...
we had our old grass rooted out because it was too hard to handle and replaced it with a healthier kind of grass...and after almost 2 months...the lawn is looking like a lawn again..and the grass, greener..

very interesting way of sleeping Fri 25-Nov-2005 19:47
